Archie Rose Sydney Airport Bar has opened as a pop up at Sydney Airport’s T1 International terminal.

Archie Rose Sydney Airport Bar is a custom designed sixteen-seat bar running opening on 28 November 2019 and running for four months.

Serving Martinis, Manhattans, Negronis and other signature cocktails, the airport bar features the newly released Archie Rose x Sydney Opera House Outside and Inside Gins which we showcased in our Christmas Gift Guide, as well as the distillery’s other gins, vodka and whiskies.

“Celebrating Sydney and Australia lies at the heart of everything we do,” says Archie Rose founder, Will Edwards. “We can’t wait to treat passengers who pass through Sydney Airport’s International Terminal this summer to world-class cocktails made from gin, vodka and whisky produced just down the road at our distillery in Rosebery, Sydney.”

“We’ve built this cocktail bar to give passengers a truly unique Sydney hospitality experience,” says Head of Hospitality, Harriet Leigh. “We’ll be serving an incredible revolving drinks menu, designed by the Archie Rose Bar team, that treats people to a world-class cocktail experience before they board!”

Sydney Airport Chief Commercial Officer Vanessa Orth said aligning with local brands to deliver innovative and immersive concepts that passengers can enjoy as part of their airport experience is a key focus for the business. “The Archie Rose Cocktail Bar fits that brief perfectly with its inviting bar setting and diverse drinks selection, it’s a winning combination and we’re confident passengers will happily pull up a seat and enjoy a delicious cocktail before boarding.”

Archie Rose Distilling Co recently announced that it has appointed Lewis Jaffrey as Group Bars Manager, a role that’s been created to service the rollout of new bar offerings for the business. He joins Archie Rose after a year in New York as co-owner, bar manager and operations director for Manhattan restaurant and bar, Gran Tivoli and Peppi’s Cellar, following his global success across the Australia and UK including Big Poppa’s, The Baxter Inn and Grandma’s in Sydney and Home House and Le Monde Hotel in the UK. 

The Archie Rose Sydney Airport Bar is located at B1045 T1 International, after security, next to Kitchen By Mike, Joe The Juice and Heineken House. The pop up bar is now open and runs until February 2020.
