Not only is the actor's preferred Mark Wahlberg Tequila, but he also now owns a line of tequlia known as Flecha Azul, co-founded by Mexican PGA golfer Abraham Ancer and businessman Aron Marquez.
"It's funny because, when it was first mentioned to me, I said absolutely not," Wahlberg told CNN Business. "You have all these other individuals out there asserting to have gone to Mexico and produced Mark Wahlberg Tequila and grown agave and all this stuff. They said, "This is not what that is; we have two incredible young and like minded guys here." I responded simply that I would like to make investments in them.
Wahlberg inked a contract last year as the main investor, hence the trio teamed amid the coronavirus epidemic. Indeed, he visited the Jalisco, Mexico, distillery of the brand, which a local family had owned and run since 1840.

Wahlberg is not bothered by the rivalry.
"Thanks guys like Dwayne who have raised a lot of awareness and excitement; the space is expanding," Wahlberg remarked.
Still, Wahlberg is driven toward the top unhindered by that.

Adding, he is down to organize a tequila-off alongside Johnson and Clooney.
