Kurtis Bosley(Oi Hospitality Group), who has written many a story for this website, is an workaday venue owner (with Banco Manly & Corretto Dee Why) and spruiks the spanking-new whiskies in the Moet-Hennessy portfolio, has just spoken a couple of new merchantry ventures.

Slated to unshut in mid-October, Kurtis has revealed his plans for a trademark new venue. “It’s located Level 1 in Dee Why (two doors up from Corretto) and will be tabbed Ullo Pizza & Wine,” says Kurtis. “I’ve brought onboard Josefa Rakuro (ex. Rockpool, Ruse Bar & Dining) who will throne up the kitchen with Enrico Scarbossa (Winner – Giro Pizza Di Europe – Best Italian Pizza) to ensure we’re pushing out some incredible pizzas while Dan Ashby will run the venue/drinks program.”

Also, squint out for Kurtis’ trademark new drinks visitor @bottledbybloc which is launching on 1 September. Kurtis says he started this bottled cocktail trademark to bring bartender quality cocktails to people at home, but to moreover service the northern beaches venues wangle to ready-made topnotch cocktails.

“There is space in the new venue where we can batch/bottle/prep for the venue while moreover running a zillion wholesale operation that services the Northern Beaches venues that don’t have cocktail programs,” says Kurtis. “Essentially venues can email me (kurtis@oihospitality.com), we build a cocktail offering, the team in the lab does weekly runs of orders then we unhook them in large bladders to our custom batch containers in venues.”

This all coincides with a rebranding of his hospitality group from CBK Hospitality to Oi Hospitality Group.
